Oogie Boogie wants you to have another try at his Lucky Wheel game in the Mirror Lair. He’s sure to have some spooky fun in mind for you in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The valley may not be in danger, but mischief is sure to be on the menu. Find out how to unlock this quest and get one step closer to inviting Oogie Boogie to your valley.

Prerequisites For The ‘The Oogie Boogie Contract’ Quest
To get ‘The Oogie Boogie Contract’ quest, you’ll first need to complete the ‘A Halloween Invasion‘ quest. You’ll also need to check your mail for a message titled ‘Want Another Try?’.
Talk To Oogie Boogie
Claim the Lucky Wheel Ticket from the mail message. Return to the mirror in Scrooge’s shop.
Interact with the mirror to enter Oogie Boogie’s realm. Talk to Oogie Boogie to give him the Lucky Wheel Ticket.
Interact with the Lucky Wheel to spin it. Talk to Oogie Boogie about the results from the wheel.
You’ve now been tricked into the service of Oogie Boogie. He wants more villagers to play the games he has set up.
He will give you a Ghost Lantern. While you’re still in the Mirror Lair, equip the Ghost Lantern.
Wear one of the following masks:
- Lock
- Shock
- Barrel
You can use the Oogie Boogie icon in the ‘Wardrobe’ function for quick access to the Lock, Shock, and Barrel masks. You’ll need to find the Ghost Lantern in the ‘Accessories’ section of the wardrobe to equip that.
Run through the Ghosties in the Mirror Lair while having the lantern equipped. Once you’ve collected all 3 Ghosties, leave the Mirror Lair.

You will have 2 choices when you return to the valley. You can decorate your valley with Halloween-themed items or use ‘Cute’ category items to defy Oogie Boogie. Choices will only change the interactions you have, so it’s fine to choose either option.
There will be 2 Oogie Boogie icons in the ‘Furniture’ mode menu. One will have more creepy or scary-themed items, and the other will have items with the ‘cute’ category.
Choose one of the decorating schemes and place at least 5 items from one of the Oogie Boogie shortcut icons. Visit Mickey’s house after you’ve decorated the valley.
Talk to Mickey while you’re in his home. You’ll have the option to tell him about the Ghosties first, or release them without warning him.
Visit Merlin’s library next. Talk to Merlin once you are inside the library. You’ll have the option again to warn him, or let the Ghosties loose without warning.
Visit Chez Remy next. Talk to Remy inside the restaurant. Choose to warn him, or release the Ghosties without warning.
Chase the Ghostie you set loose and catch it inside Chez Remy. Talk to Remy about what happened with the Ghostie.
Return to Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair. Oogie Boogie will review your work and give you your next task.
Follow Oogie Boogie and talk to him once he has the quest marker above his head. Oogie Boogie wants some Snake and Spider Stew.
Interact with the recipe posted on the wall for some recipe hints. Use the cauldron to try cooking up some Snake and Spider Stew.
Snake and Spider Stew Recipe Answer
The recipe for Snake and Spider Stew is:
- 1 Oogie Boogie’s Eggs
- 1 Mushy Banana
- 1 Super Salty Seaweed
Talk to Oogie Boogie to give him the stew. This will complete the quest.
