The floating island is back for a limited time in the Disney Dreamlight Valley game. Instead of a spooky-themed island, this is ‘The Winter Floating Festival’.
Get ready to explore a fun new seasonal-themed island from January 7th, 2026 to January 28th, 2026. Find out what rewards you can earn in this new wintery festival!
How To Participate In ‘The Winter Floating Festival’
To get started in the snowy fun of ‘The Winter Floating Festival, you’ll need to get to the island. You can use the special portal located in the Plaza, or you can visit the ‘Event’ section in the main menu. There is a teleport button listed in the event information section which will also work.
Here are the activities you can do to participate in ‘The Winter Floating Festival’:
- Collect the following items:
- Mint
- Sugarcane
- Festive Cocoa Beans
- Cherries
- Blueberries
- Open red treasure chests to get recipes.
- Read books around the island for hints.
- Solve puzzles to get rewards.
- Select critter companions to put in the critter house.
- Use bonfire to take special pictures with villagers.
To leave the island, interact with the wishing well and select a location. You can also use the teleport option in the event description if you’re on the island to go back to the valley.
Solve ‘The Winter Floating Festival Puzzles
You’ll have a total of 5 puzzles to solve during ‘The Winter Floating Festival’. Three will be available to work on when the event begins.
You’ll need to collect the island materials frequently to have what you need for some of the puzzles.
Winter Rabbit Puzzle Solution
Give the Winter Rabbit the hot cocoa treat of the day according to the following schedule:
- Monday = Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
- Tuesday = Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
- Wednesday = Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
- Thursday = Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
- Friday = Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
- Saturday = Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
- Sunday = Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
Once per day, you can get a special memory orb from the Winter Rabbit when you give it the proper hot cocoa. You’ll need to give Festive Hot Cocoa to the rabbit 4 times to complete the special memory.
When the memory is complete, find the spot pictured in the memory on the island, and dig at the pictured location.
Chocolate Fountain Puzzle Solution
Give the Chocolate Fountain the following items:
- 15 Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoas
- 10 Festive Cherry Hot Cocoas
- 20 Festive Mint Hot Cocoas
Winter Pillar Puzzle Hint
Interact with the Winter Pillar wall to set the right pictures in the proper order. The types of snowmen on the island are the key to getting this right.

I = Bow
II = Tophat
III = Baseball Cap
IV = Knit Hat
Broken Street Lamp Puzzle Solution
Fill your pockets with all colors of shiny gems you can get from the base Disney Dreamlight Valley game. Interact with street lamps that have an electrical current around the lamp poles.
When you interact with the street lamps, you’ll be able to choose the correct color shiny gem to match the lamp. It will only give you correct options to select from your inventory. This will “fix” the lamp.
You’ll need to fix all the broken street lamps on the island. When you’ve fixed them all, you’ll receive a reward.
Stone House Quiz Puzzle Answers
Talk to the Quiz Master snowman in the stone cottage and answer all questions correctly to obtain the reward:
