You’ve welcomed Cinderella into Disney Dreamlight Valley, and now she’s figuring out what she wants her new life to look life. After years of being bossed around, she gets to decide what she wants to do.
Join the other villagers to help Cinderella with this new phase of her life. Help inspire her with a variety of ideas for her next project.
Prerequisites For ‘Cinderella’s Custom Creation’ Quest
To get ‘Cinderella’s Custom Creation’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Unlock the following characters:
- Daisy
- Minnie Mouse
- Jasmine
- Cinderella
- Have Cinderella at friendship level 2 or higher.
- Progress with Vanellope.
- Unlock and build Daisy’s Boutique building.
- Have access to the Sunlit Plateau.
You can check the status of the quest any time, once you accept it, in the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Talk To Cinderella
To officially accept the ‘Cinderella’s Custom Creation’ quest, you’ll need to talk to Cinderella. She feels like being creative, but doesn’t know where to begin.
You’ll need to talk to Daisy to see if she’s willing to help Cinderella learn how to be more creative. Meet with Daisy at the boutique.
Talk to Daisy again when you’re in the boutique. Search around the valley for some inspiration. Take pictures of the following things to show Cinderella:
- Sunbirds
- White & Red Hydrangeas
- Citrine
There will be quest marker icons on the items you need to take pictures of if you have them in your storage or inventory. You can include both the Citrine and the White & Red Hydrangeas in one picture if you want.
The sunbird pets won’t count for the quest, so you’ll need to get a picture of wild sunbirds in the Sunlit Plateau. After you’ve taken all the necessary pictures, go back to Daisy’s Boutique.
Talk to Cinderella once you arrive at the boutique. You’ll need to craft a divider base for Cinderella’s plans.
Gather the following items for the divider base:
- 15 Softwood
- 5 Gold Ingots
- 2 Sapphires
Interact with a crafting station to craft the divider. You’ll find the ‘Divider Base’ in the ‘Functional Items‘ section of the crafting recipes.
You’ll then need to meet Cinderella in her house. Talk to her to give her the Divider base you just crafted.
Cinderella wants to figure out the colors to add to the base. Talk to Jasmine for help with the color dyes.
You should receive Yellow Dye and Purple Pigment from Jasmine. To make the purple dye, visit a cooking station.
Interact with the cooking station and you should find the recipe at the top of the list, with a quest marker icon on the recipe. You’ll need the following ingredients to make the Purple Dye:
- 1 Canola
- 1 Blueberry
- 1 Raspberry
- 1 Squid
- 1 Purple Pigment
Have the Yellow Dye and Purple Dye in your inventory, and talk to Daisy about fabric. Next, talk to Minnie Mouse about adding a finishing touch to the divider.
Go back to Cinderella’s house and talk to her to give her the fabric. You’ll need to interact with the divider screen that should be on display in the room to add Minnie’s Cute Ribbon.
Take a selfie with everyone while you’re inside Cinderella’s house with the divider on display. When you’ve successfully taken a picture with everyone there, a random piece of fabric appears.
Interact with the fabric to collect it and talk with Cinderella about her new divider. This will complete the quest.
