To save Wishblossom Ranch in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to save the last horse in the Crystal Cavern and remove the decay crystals. The flow of Pixie Dust should be restored once you complete the tasks.
Join your various horse comrades to brave the Crystal Caverns one more time, and liberate the last horse friend for Snow White. Tinker Bell won’t be able to keep things stable on her own much longer.
Prerequisites For The ‘Crystal Cavern: Pixie Acres’ Quest
To get the ‘Crystal Cavern: Pixie Acres’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete beginning Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete beginning Wishblossom Ranch quests, including:
- ‘Fun, Fun, Fun!‘
- Have the Pixie Acres Crystal Key in your inventory.
You can check the status of the quest any time from the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Talk To Tinkerbell
Bring the Pixie Acres Crystal Key to Tinker Bell when you’re ready to explore the cavern dungeon. Talk to Tinker Bell when you arrive at the Wishblossom Heart to officially begin the quest.
Follow Tinker Bell to the new area in the Wishblossom Heart. Tinker Bell will be at a cluster of blue crystals.
Talk to her again when she has a quest marker above her head. Tinker Bell will reveal the stairway to the next cavern.
Enter the Crystal Cavern at the stop of the stairway. Once you enter the cavern, you’ll need to use Khan’s ability to break the barricade.
| You can swap mounts using your fast-swap key or button. You’ll need to change between Khan, Maximus, and Wishblossom Horses periodically. |
Travel into the next section of the tunnel. You’ll need to use Khan’s ability again to break the barrier that is blocking the ranch boulder from moving.
Once the barrier is destroyed, use a Wishblossom Horse’s push ability to move the ranch boulder onto the empty wooden platform.
This will open the blocked doorway slightly. Ride your horse over to the other wooden platform to unlock it the rest of the way.
Continue ahead, jumping over the hay bales blocking the path. When you arrive at the Giant Wishblossom flower, it will speak to you like the others did.
The Pink Area
Travel to the left and take the path with the boards in the floor and a stairway. At the end of the path you’ll see two empty wooden platforms in the ground.
There’s a blocked door near the platforms. Jump over the obstacles to approach the ranch boulder from the far side of the room.
Use a Wishblossom Horse push ability to move the boulder onto the platform. There’s also a barricade at the opposite side of the room from the boulder.
Use Khan’s ability to destroy the barrier. There’s a green treasure chest in the room, but nothing necessary for the quest itself.
Ride your horse to the empty platform to fully open the door to the next area. Proceed through the door and destroy the red decay crystal.
There’s an elevator to the right. Interact with the lever to return to the lower level of the cavern.
Head to the right as you come out of the elevator. There’s another green treasure chest.
The Green Area
Head to the stairs leading to the platform with a red decay crystal on it. Use Khan’s ability to break the barricade. Jump over two sets of hay bale obstacles.
Use Khan’s ability again to break the barricade. Continue into the room, and break another barrier. You’ll then need to jump over more hay bales to proceed.
You’ll reach a lever, and another green treasure chest. Interact with the lever to move the elevator platform stacked with barrels and boxes out of the way.
Return the way you came, but this time you should be able to cross over the platform to get to the red decay crystal. Interact with the crystal to destroy it.
There’s another elevator to the right. Interact with the lever to return to the lower level again.
The Blue Area
Continue to the right after leaving the elevator. There’s a set of stairs you can take to proceed.
You’ll need to use Maximus’ ability to jump across the water. There’s a pedestal near the wooden platform.
Interact with the pedestal to read the information. Continue using Maximus and interact with the red scent orb to get the scent of the missing lever.
Follow the red scent clouds with Maximus to reach the missing lever. There will also be a spot to use Khan’s ability.
There will be another green treasure chest behind the barrier. Travel back the way you came and interact with the lever base to repair it.
Interact again to activate the platform. It will move you horizontally to another part of the room.
Continue on the path until you reach the red decay crystal. Interact to destroy it. Use the elevator on the right by interacting with the lever to return to the main floor.
Talk to the Wishblossom of Dreams. You now have access to Pegasus and a new special ability.
You’ll need to ride Pegasus and gallop to wind tunnels to fly. The wind tunnel will be a multicolored spot of wind that will eventually look like a tornado.
Once you head to the wind tunnel, there will be a higher ledge to land on. The ledge has a shortcut exit to take you directly back to the Wishblossom Heart.
Break Decay Crystals Around The Wishblossom Mountains
While you were saving Pegasus, it seems the decay worsened. There are new decay crystals showing up all over the mountains.
You’ll need to break decay crystals in the following areas:
- 18 Crystals in the Wishing Alps
- 18 Crystals in Glamour Gulch
- 18 Crystals in Pixie Acres
You can use Pegasus for this if you want to start building friendship with them right away. You’ll need to improve your friendship to unlock future quests involving Pegasus.
Return to Tinker Bell in the Wishblossom Heart to tell her about the situation. This will complete the quest. The next quest, ‘The Decay’ will become available.
