When Disney Dreamlight Valley gives you a Wishblossom Horse to customize, can you really just have one? We think not.
Find out how to get this quest, and what you need to do to upgrade the stables. You’ll be customizing another Wishblossom Horse before you know it.
Prerequisites For The ‘Hold Your Horses: The Wishing Alps’ Quest

To get the ‘Hold Your Horses: The Wishing Alps’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the Disney Dreamlight Valley beginning quests.
- Complete the Wishblossom Ranch beginning quests.
- Complete the ‘Wheel Big Trouble‘ quest.
- Attempt to upgrade the stable.
You can check the status of the quest by visiting the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Gather Materials

Once you try to upgrade the stable, you’ll automatically begin the quest by talking to Snow White. If you’ve progressed enough with Wishblossom Ranch content, she’ll tell you that you can make a Stable Repair Kit.
When you choose that option, you’ll officially get this quest. You’ll need to gather some materials to craft a Stable Repair Kit if you don’t already have them.
You’ll need the following:
- 10 Reclaimed Barn Wood
- 10 Pixie Dust
- 5 Yellow Crocus
- 2 Shiny Pyrite
You’ll find Pixie Dust by using a Wishblossom mount to destroy dead Wishblossoms, and by mining. You’ll also need to mine for Shiny Pyrite.
Yellow Crocus and Reclaimed Barn Wood are both found by simply foraging. Keep an eye open and you should have enough of these fairly soon.
Once you’ve collected all the items, use a crafting station to craft a Wishing Alps Stable Repair Kit. You’ll find it in the ‘Functional Items’ section of recipes.
With the Wishing Alps Stable Repair Kit in your inventory, interact with the construction sign at the stables to unlock a new stall. Sven, if you have him, will roam independently and cannot be stabled.
Once a new stall is unlocked, interact with the new stall. You’ll see an option to adopt another Wishblossom Horse. You’ll be able to customize a new horse in the same way you did previously.
