Scrooge McDuck may be Disney Dreamlight Valley’s most resourceful entrepreneur, but even he may struggle to bring in customers without running water. Wishblossom Ranch has seen better days, and Scrooge needs help before he can even think about helping with Goofy’s caravan.
Find out what Scrooge needs help with so you can procure enough replacement wheels to get Goofy’s caravan running again. This quest happens alongside the ‘Wheel Big Trouble’, and the ‘Equine Delicacies’ quests.
Prerequisites For The ‘Water Tower Of Terror’ Quest
To get the ‘Water Tower Of Terror’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the beginning Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete the beginning Wishblossom Ranch quests.
- Begin the ‘Wheel Big Trouble‘ quest.
You can check the status of the quests in the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Talk To Scrooge McDuck
To begin the ‘Water Tower Of Terror’ quest you’ll need to talk to Scrooge McDuck first. He can’t open his shop to sell wheels or anything else, until he at least has running water.
Follow Scrooge to the location of the water tower. Talk to Scrooge to find out what’s necessary for the repairs.
The water tower will have a new game feature, a blueprint. This is similar to Scrooge’s construction, however, you’ll interact with the blueprint and deliver the necessary materials using the construction sign.
Blueprints also allow you to unlock the building as craftable furniture. You can interact with the construction sign of a blueprint to view the necessary materials, and donation progress. When blueprints are completed, you can also move them around just like regular furniture.
For the water tower repair you’ll need the following items:
- 5 Pixie Dust
- 5 Reclaimed Barn Wood
- 5 Silver Ore
- 5 Pebbles
- 3 Old Braided Rope
Ride your Wishblossom Horse through the dead Wishblossoms to collect Pixie Dust. The Pixie Dust will appear in your inventory, so you’ll be able to see how much you’ve collected. You’ll also collect some while mining.
You can find pebbles by digging. You’ll be able to get some from the rocky path area between Wishblossom Ranch and Wishing Way. It’s between two bridges on the map.
You’ll need to have the full amount of an item before it can be donated to the blueprint. Donated items will remain in the blueprint until each item type has been fulfilled.
To get the Old Braided Rope, you’ll need to fish in still water (not fishing ripples). You can fish in the water south of Wishing Way to get the rope.
Reclaimed Barn Wood can be found lying on the ground. It’s a similar color wood to the buildings in the area, and are little rectangles rather than sticks.
Once you have all the materials, interact with the construction sign and deliver them all to the water tower blueprint. Return to Scrooge when the water tower is repaired.
Talk to Scrooge to let him know the water tower is repaired. Interact with the construction sign in front of Scrooge’s shop to give it a Grand Opening.
After the shop has been built, talk to Scrooge. You’ll receive a new wheel for Goofy’s caravan, and the quest will be completed.
