In the various lands of the Disney Dreamlight Valley game, there have been some unfortunate circumstances. The Forgetting caused a heap of trouble, and ripples of that trouble have been felt even at Wishblossom Ranch.
What once seemed to be a happy, peaceful ranch, now seems to be falling apart and abandoned. The Crystal Key is crucial to saving the ranch, but you may need some help to find out more about this key.
Prerequisites For The ‘Ghost Town’ Quest
To get the ‘Ghost Town’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete beginning Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete ‘A Wishful Invitation‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Tales Of A Broken Heart‘ quest.
You can check the status of this quest any time in the main menu ‘Quests’ section.
Talk To Scrooge McDuck
Snow White recommended talking to Scrooge McDuck about the Crystal Key you’ll need. To begin the quest, you’ll need to talk to Scrooge McDuck.
You’ll need to follow Scrooge when he heads to the bridge. Talk to Scrooge once you get there.
You’ll need to use the Wishblossom Horse’s push ability to move the stone to the left of the bridge into the proper place, but you’ll have to improve your bond with your horse first.
You can level up your Wishblossom Horse bond by doing the following:
- Petting your horse.
- Brushing your horse.
- Riding over obstacles.
- Feeding your horse.
When you feed your horse, you can give them their daily favorite items. Visit the ‘Collections’ part of the main menu, and then select mounts.
This will allow you to see all your mounts, and what each one wants for their daily favorite gifts. They’ll each have 3 favorite daily gifts listed, just like regular characters.
You should only need to pet your horse, as Scrooge suggests, to get your friendship to level 2 with your horse. You should be able to tackle the large boulders with the ranch symbol on them.
Once it’s in the proper place, the bridge should lower so you can cross it. Follow Scrooge into the town. Talk to Scrooge once he has a quest marker above his head.
This will complete the quest, and give you the next quest, ‘Wheel Big Trouble’.
