All aboard for Wishblossom Ranch! Disney Dreamlight Valley’s expansion allows you to travel to an alps-like destination for a supposed vacation.
Find out how you can get the quest, and what you’ll face when you arrive at Wishblossom Ranch. Get ready to explore new areas, and meet new friends!
Prerequisites For The ‘A Wishful Invitation’ Quest
To get the ‘A Wishful Invitation’ quest, you’ll need to purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion. The regular edition, as well as the deluxe edition, will work equally well for this.
You’ll also need to do the following to access the new expansion and new quests:
- Complete ‘The Dream Castle‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Friendship Is Everything‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Making Cents Of Things‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Scrooge McDuck’s Grand Re-opening‘ quest.
- Complete ‘Fishing Expedition‘ quest.
You may not receive the in-game mail invitation if you haven’t completed all these quests. Check with Merlin, Scrooge, and Goofy for quests if you’re not seeing the invitation in your mailbox.
You can also check the status for this quest, or unfinished quests by navigating to the main menu. The ‘Quests’ section should show quests that are available, as well as what you need to do next to complete them.
Check Your In-Game Mail
To begin the ‘A Wishful Invitation’ quest, you’ll need to check your in-game mail. The mail you’re looking for is titled ‘Free Vacation To Wishblossom Ranch!!!‘.
You’ll also have additional mail to peruse. If you purchased the deluxe edition you’ll receive mail titled ‘Wishblossom Ranch’ as well as another piece of mail for ‘Wishblossom Ranch – Deluxe Edition’.
There will also be a ‘Welcome To Wishblossom Ranch!’ mail, and a couple “spam” messages regarding the ranch. Read all the messages to take full advantage of your new expansion.

When you read the ‘Free Vacation To Wishblossom Ranch!!!’ mail (with a quest icon), you’ll be able to claim a ticket voucher for a free unlimited stay at the ranch.
You’ll need to travel to Stardust Port, and board a train. Head to the Dream Castle to access Stardust Port. It’s the same area in the castle you visited for the other expansion access points.
Once you board the train, you’ll be whisked to Wishblossom Ranch. After you disembark, you’ll need to find someone who will be able to take your voucher.
Travel through the archway into the entry area and try giving your Wishblossom Ranch voucher to Snow White. There’s a swarm of bees blocking the entrance to the ranch, however, so Snow White wants you to try drawing the bees away.
She suggests you search a nearby cave for a way to disburse the bees. You’ll need to travel up the dirt path to the right of Snow White to reach the cave.
You’ll need to talk to the flower you find in the cave. You may need to adjust your positioning before you can interact with it.
Horse Riding And Options
Once you talk to the flower, you’ll get a magical horse to help you with your tasks. You’ll be able to customize your horse right then, so feel free to take your time.
You can also alter your horse at a stable, so it’s not the end of the world if you decide you want to change it later. You’ll also name your horse during this process.
To see the options for interacting with your horse, approach the horse. Your normal interact button or key should allow you to ride your horse.
While riding your horse, you should see a screen prompt at the lower left corner that tells you how to dismount. You’ll also have options to pet, brush, and feed your horse.
At this stage, you most likely won’t be able to feed or brush your horse. You can, however, pet it if you want.
You’ll need to ride the horse out of the cave, and it should move with the same controls you use to move your avatar. The gallop feature seems to use the same controls as the glide feature.
Use the gallop feature to explore the entrance area. There are some hay bales placed in the area for you to practice jumping over obstacles. You’ll need to jump over a total of 3 hay bales.
Ride back to Snow White and talk to her, (you don’t need to dismount). You can interact with characters, collectibles, and quest clues without getting off your horse.
You’ll need to use the new push ability to move the flower wagon closer to the bees. Once the wagon is in the proper place, you’ll be able to cross the bridge. It’ll be a small cutscene.
Talk to Snow White to find out what happened at the Wishblossom Ranch, and then follow her. She’ll lead you to the wishing well, and you’ll need to search for clues to help you find out more about the missing horses.
Talk to Snow White about the clue you’ve found. Snow White will lead you to another area. You can use the gallop feature to jump fences so you’ll have more places to search near her.
You’ll need to find another clue and talk to Snow White about your findings. Follow Snow White to another spot and continue to search for clues.
You’ll need to find 2 clues this time. The push ability will be required for one of the clues.
Talk to Snow White once you’ve found both clues. Snow White will be standing at the stable. You can interact with the stable horseshoe sign to upgrade it and open a new stall for your horse.
| To put your horse in the stable, interact with the empty stable slot and select the option to customize your horse. You can customize it, or simply exit the menu and the horse will remain in the stable. Interact with the stall to retrieve your horse. |
Talk to Snow White after upgrading the stable. This will complete the ‘A Wishful Invitation’ quest, and give you the ‘Tales Of A Broken Heart‘ quest.
