What To Collect For Retsuko’s Birthday
During birthday celebrations on Friendship Island, you’ll usually need to collect particular items to gain decorating kits. For Retsuko, you’ll need to collect Magma Flowers and Toasted Almonds.
While you collect the Magma Flowers and Toasted Almonds, you’ll have a chance to also get Retsuko Decorating Kits. These can be combined with 1 Flour to create a special ‘Retsuko’s Birthday Cake’ food item.
How To Get The ‘Center Stage’ Birthday Quest
To get the ‘Center Stage‘ birthday quest for Retsuko, you’ll need to seek out Tuxedosam and talk to him. You’ll find out that it’s Retsuko’s birthday.
Tuxedosam wants to make sure Retsuko has a surprise birthday party. Find Hello Kitty and talk to her about the plans. She’s usually in the Hello Kitty Café.
Hello Kitty suggests some snacks for the surprise party. You’ll need to help by making the following:
- 5 Strawberry Shortcakes
- 5 Pineapple Stackcakes
- 5 Cinnamon Bread
Make sure you have the following ingredients on hand, since you’ll need to make fresh new desserts:
- 15 Flour
- 5 Strawberries
- 5 Pineapples
- 5 Cinna Blooms, Magma Blooms, or a combination
Talk to Hello Kitty once you’ve cooked all the necessary treats. Your next task is to figure out what to make for drinks, so you’ll need to talk to Pekkle.
Pekkle has some great recommendations for party soda. Make the following sodas:
- 3 Cream Sodas
- 3 Sweet Sodas
- 3 Fiery Sodas
Make sure you have the following ingredients once again, since you’ll need to make fresh sodas:
- 9 Fizzy Crystals
- 3 Coral Milk
- 3 Candy Cloud, Sugarkelp, Swampmallow, or any combination
- 3 Toasted Almond, Cinna Bloom, Magma Bloom or any combination
Talk to Pekkle once you’ve made all the sodas. You can then head to the Comedy Club in Rainbow Reef.
Talk to Tuxedosam once you arrive at the Comedy Club. Interact with the spots on stage marked by blue exclamation points.
Talk to Hello Kitty when you’re done placing the birthday balloons on the stage. After the conversations, you’ll receive a Retsuko Party Favor, and the Retsuko Birthday Balloons Crafting Plans.
Retsuko Birthday Balloons can be crafted using 25 Rubber, 5 Iron, and 15 Dough. The Retsuko Birthday Cake, party favor, and birthday balloons can all be placed in cabins. The cake can also be gifted to Retsuko during her birthday for some special dialogue.
