In Hello Kitty Island Adventure (HKIA), you’re at a place called Friendship Island. It makes sense to appreciate the value of friends with a festival dedicated to friendship.
While most of the events in HKIA merely have you collect items and trade them for cool rewards, this one requires a little bit more. Embrace the spirit of friendship and get ready to dazzle in some selfies.
How To Participate In The ‘Friendship Festival’ Event
To participate in the Friendship Festival, here’s what you can do:
Login daily to get special event rewards.
Check in-game email titled “What can we say, Friendship is kinda our thing!”. You’ll receive supplies and 3 Friendship Charms.
Collect Friendship Charms. These won’t by lying around. You’ll need to dress up and take selfies with your friends to get the charms. You’ll need to check your daily quests to see which friend needs a selfie with you.
Collect My Melody & Kuromi Decorating Kits and make special treats using the Oven, Soda Machine, and Dessert Machine. The decorating kits can be obtained by completing daily quests.
How To Use Friendship Charms
Login daily and complete the daily quest to get Friendship Charms. Once you have some, you can interact with the Friendship Festival booth and trade the charms for prizes.
You’ll even be able to trade for special emotes that include your avatar and friend. Do yoga poses together, or confident poses to help you show off your styles.
In some versions of the game you may need to check Tuxedosam’s shop, and My Melody’s shop for event furniture and clothing. Apple Arcade version will provide all rewards at the event booth.
