In the Storybook Vale expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll explore some new places and meet new faces. You’ll need to work with Hades as you navigate Mythopia.
As you explore Mythopia, you’ll receive new quests from Hades. Some of these quests will be separate from his friendship-based quests, but both are good to complete since they can relate to the main story.
Prerequisites For ‘The Marble Colossus’
To get ‘The Marble Colossus’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to do the following:
Have the Storybook Vale expansion.
Unlock The Elysian Fields.
Unlock The Statue’s Shadow.
Have 7,000 Story Magic.
Explore ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ Area
As you explore The Statue’s Shadow area, you’ll encounter more journal pages strewn around. You should be able to find a total of 4 journal pages in ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ area. Interacting with them will give you the typical memory orbs to collect.
All Journal Page Locations In ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ Area
There’s a journal page at the entrance to ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ area.
You’ll find a journal page at the set of stairs connecting The Fiery Plains and The Statue’s Shadow.
There’s a journal page near the right-hand set of stairs to get to the landing with the bridge that doesn’t connect.
Another journal page can be found at the northernmost set of stairs leading to Mount Olympus.
You can also clean up the area’s inkies and marble pillars for easier travel. If you want to activate the fast-travel well, you can do so for 10,000 star coins.
You’ll need to remove some inkies when you get to the staircases on the right side of ‘The Statue’s Shadow’ area. Travel down to the landing to progress the quest to the next phase.

There’s a post you can interact with to read, and to try and extend the bridge so that it connects to the other side. It seems there is a missing component and the bridge extension won’t work.
Talk to Hades for suggestions. During the discussion with Hades, he’ll give you a clue to get the bridge working again. You’ll need to craft 2 Pain & Panic Vases.
You’ll need the following materials to craft the vases:
- 10 Marble
- 4 Squid
- 4 Gold Ingots
Return to the bridge and place the statues on the left and right pillars. You should see some sparkling to indicate where you need to place the vases.
Interact with the post at the bridge again to see if the bridge is fixed. You’ll need to cross the bridge and then use the Royal Net to activate the Mythic Trial. This will complete ‘The Marble Colossus’ quest and give you a new one, ‘Losing Your Marbles’.
