It’s Summer in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which means it’s time for the Summer Sizzle Event. The event runs from July 2, 2025 to July 22, 2025.
Join in the fun to earn rewards, and toast up some marshmallow treats to share with your favorite Dreamlight Valley villagers.
Summer Sizzle Event Activities
To take part in the Summer Sizzle Event, you shouldn’t need to fulfill any specific requirements as long as you at least have access to the Plaza.
First, you’ll want to start the event by checking your in-game mail. You’ll receive a host of recipes to get the ball rolling.
You’ll need 4 free inventory slots to receive the mail rewards. The mail title should read “The Summer Sizzle event begins!”.
Here are the recipes you should receive:
- Sizzling BBQ Cooking Station
- Summer Crafting Station
- Roasted Marshmallows
- S’mores
Use the recipe books from your inventory to “learn” the recipes. Here are the other ways to participate in the event:
Collect pink marshmallows from 3 special bushes in the Plaza.
Collect blue marshmallows from the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach.
Complete Summer Sizzle Event Duties.
Craft the new recipes.
What You’ll Need To Craft New Recipes
The Summer Sizzle Event encourages you get out into your valley and scour it for pink marshmallows and blue marshmallows. You’ll need quite a few to complete the duties and craft the recipes you receive.
Marshmallows aren’t the only materials you’ll need. Here are the recipes you’ll receive in the mail, and what each one needs in order for you to craft them:

How Often Can I Get Pink And Blue Marshmallows?
To collect as many pink and blue marshmallows as possible, it’s good to know how often they spawn.
Pink marshmallows can be harvested from the bushes once every 30 minutes, according to the official Disney Dreamlight Valley blog post.
Blue marshmallows spawn every 5 minutes. You’ll get 1-4 marshmallows with a maximum of 12 total in the valley.
Summer Sizzle Event Rewards
In addition to the rewards you receive from completing the special Summer Sizzle Event duties, you’ll be able to craft the new recipes mentioned earlier.
You’ll also have access to craft recipes from previous Summer Sizzle Events if you missed them. The craftable rewards are as follows:
