Pekkle is definitely a bird who can appreciate a beat. He’s also pretty cheerful and likes to celebrate. Celebrations are also much better when you include friends, so he wants you to celebrate with him.
Spend some time with Pekkle and celebrate your friendship in Pekkle’s favorite way: Dancing.
Prerequisites For The ‘Clap Your Hands’ Quest
To get the ‘Clap Your Hands’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
Have access to the Gemstone Mountain area.
Complete the ‘Gudetama Snap‘ quest.
Complete ‘Bring Back The Swing‘ quest.
Have Pekkle at max friendship level 15.
You can check to see if you have this quest, or the status of the quest, at any time by visiting the ‘Active Quests’ menu. It will appear under the ‘Friendship Quests’ section.
Talk To Pekkle
Talk to Pekkle to begin the quest. If you’re familiar with Pekkle, you might be able to guess that he wants even more dancing in his life.
Pekkle will ask you join him inside the Dance Hall. Talk to him again once you meet up. He’ll guide you through some dance moves during a cutscene.
You’ll then need to use the Camera function to take a picture of Pekkle and yourself while your avatar is dancing. When you’re in the Camera interface, you’ll select the button that looks like a speech bubble with “…” on it.
You may need to select the picture with four squares in it to find the emote you want. Talk to Pekkle once you’ve taken the picture successfully.
You’ll be encouraged to pick a name for your dancing duo, and then the quest will be complete. You’ll permanently unlock these additional dance emotes to use whenever you want and in pictures.
