There’s a new resident in the Gemstone Mountain area, and Pompompurin wants to make sure they get a big welcome. He’ll need your help to complete his plans before Macaron shows up
Prerequisites For ‘Sweets For The Sweetest’
To get this quest you’ll need to do a few things:
Have access to Gemstone Mountain area.
Have a 5-star reputation with Macaron.
Have Macaron as a permanent resident.
You can check the status of this quest any time in your ‘Active Quests’ menu in the ‘Friendship Quests’ section.
Talk To Pompompurin
To start this quest talk to Pompompurin. He needs your help to finish the gifts he wants to give to Macaron as a welcome to Friendship Island.
He’ll need you to collect some items. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 3 Macaron desserts
- 1 Purple Sunhat
- 1 Rocky Gift (1 Gift Box and 10 Shiny collectibles to craft)
Once you have everything use the gift function to give everything to Pompompurin.

When you give Pompompurin the gifts, you’ll be transported to his boat for the moment when Macaron shows up for a visit. This scenario completes the quest.
