Disney Dreamlight Valley is always striving to keep us busy. Between DreamSnaps contests, Star Paths and general valley maintenance, there’s a lot going on.
From May 28, 2025 to June 17, 2025 the Dreamlight Parks Fest is back. You can check out the ‘Description’ section to see if there are any rewards you haven’t obtained from previous years’ celebrations.
This article has been updated June 6, 2025 with additional quests in the Dreamlight Parks Fest event.
Prerequisites To The Dreamlight Parks Fest

If you’re new to Disney Dreamlight Valley but want to take part in this year’s Dreamlight Parks Fest, here’s what you’ll need:
Have Scrooge McDuck unlocked
Have the Royal Pickaxe
Have access to the Camera tool
Activities For The Dreamlight Parks Fest

It’s only fitting that Disney, home of amusement and theme park fun, celebrates that history every once in a while. This year, we have floating islands available to give us even more ways to decorate and celebrate that history.
While we can decorate floating islands for our own enjoyment, decorations placed on them will not count for progress on the Dreamlight Parks Fest quests.
To participate in this annual celebration, you can check the ‘Event’ tab in the main menu. There are a few ways you can participate:
- Dreamlight Parks Fest duties
- Quests from Scrooge McDuck
- Dreamlight Parks Fest: Decorate More! (weekly quest)
- Dreamlight Parks Fest: Dig It (daily quest)
- Dreamlight Parks Fest: Decorate Most!
- Dreamlight Parks Fest: Ovals
- Pick up special red flowers
- Collect buttons
- Red buttons will be lying on the ground in any regular biome (no expansions). According to the official Dreamlight Valley blog, there’s also a chance for red buttons to appear in villager homes.
- Blue buttons can be obtained by fishing from special fishing ripples that are pink and blue (Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach).
- Purple buttons must be crafted and will use red and blue buttons.
- Green buttons can be received for completing quests.
- Quests from villagers
- Craft popcorn buckets
- Decorate with popcorn buckets and theme park decor
How To Complete Dreamlight Parts Fest: Decorate More!

This quest has 3 parts. The first part of the quest is to gather the necessary amount of supplies.
Part 1
You’ll need to gather and craft the following items:
- 25 Iron Ingots ( 125 Iron Ore and 50 Coal Ore)
- 5 Topaz (not shiny)
- 50 Fiber (10 Seaweed)
- 25 Pebbles
- 25 Sand
- 25 Clay
You may have two Iron Ingot recipes. Make sure you use the recipe with the Iron Ore and Coal Ore for ingredients. If you use the wrong recipe, it will use up your Wrought Iron supplies.
Part 2
The next part of this quest is to do some crafting. Craft the following:
- 100 Main Street Paths
- 5 Park Banner Lampposts
Part 3
The final part of this weekly quest is to add decorations to your valley. Add the following to your valley, avoiding the floating islands:
- 25 Main Street Paths
- 5 Park Banner Lampposts
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Dig It

For this quest, you’ll need to talk to Scrooge and request to hang out. Mine for gems and minerals around the valley while hanging out.
Find a total of 10 minerals with Scrooge. If you have Scrooge as a mining buddy, the quest will not count any extra minerals he finds.
It will count extra minerals you receive from using a Pickaxe Polish. With the polish you should be able to find 10 minerals with relative ease. Talk with Scrooge once you’ve finished the mining.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Decorate Most!

This quest also has multiple parts to complete before the quest can finally be finished.
Part 1
For this quest you’ll need to do some more gathering. Collect the following items:
- 25 Rope (200 Fiber or 40 Seaweed)
- 5 Purple Rising Penstemons
- 5 Blue Hydrangea
- 5 Dandelion
- 75 Softwood
Once you’ve collected everything, talk to Scrooge.
Part 2
You’ll need to do a bit more crafting for this part.
- 5 Mickey Mouse Park Balloons
- 5 Park Recycling Bins
Part 3
For the last part, place 5 Mickey Mouse Park Balloons, and the 5 Park Recycling Bins somewhere in your valley. Anything placed on the floating islands will not count for completion of this quest.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps

Mirabel, like some other villagers, will have a Dreamlight Parks Fest quest for you. She wants to take some pictures with the different squirrels in the valley.
To complete this, request to hang out with Mirabel and take pictures of the following squirrels:
- Classic Squirrel
- Red Squirrel
- Gray Squirrel
- Black Squirrel
- White Squirrel
This quest can’t be completed in one day, so you’ll need to check each day and remember to hang out with Mirabel before taking pictures. Make sure both Mirabel and the squirrel are visible in the photo.
Squirrel pets will not complete the quest. Pictures will need to be of the free-roaming squirrels in the Plaza.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Ovals

Scrooge McDuck is back with another quest for his scavenger hunt. Once you accept the quest, make sure to ask Scrooge to hang out before you begin mining.
You’ll need to mine 5 oval-shaped minerals while hanging out with Scrooge:
- Aquamarine
- Citrine
- Garnet
- Peridot
- Tourmaline
Gems and minerals found by your mining buddy will not be counted for this quest. Extra gems and minerals found by using a Pickaxe Polish will count.
Talk to Scrooge once you’ve collected the 5 minerals. This will complete the quest.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Rectangles

It’s time for the next part of Scrooge’s scavenger hunt. You’ll need to search for rectangular 5 minerals.
Talk to Scrooge and ask to hang out before you start mining. The following minerals will work to fulfill the quest:
- Amethyst
- Emerald
- Ruby
- Sapphire
- Topaz
Once you have all 5 minerals, talk to Scrooge. This will complete the quest, and he’ll let you know the next one will be the last in his scavenger hunt series.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snacks

To begin this quest, talk to Mirabel. Make sure you have carrots in your inventory.
You’ll need to find rabbits in the Peaceful Meadow and feed 3 different rabbits. This will most likely take more than one day to complete since there are only ever 2 rabbits at a time in the Peaceful Meadow.
You will need to feed different rabbits for this quest, feeding the same rabbit their favorite food will only count 1 time, no matter how many carrots have been given. Talk to Mirabel once you’ve fed the rabbits.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Shinies!

This will be the last of the scavenger hunt quests from Scrooge for the Dreamlights Parks Fest. To get this quest started talk to Scrooge.
You’ll need to mine up 3 shiny minerals while hanging out with Scrooge, so don’t forget to have him hang out with you before you begin. Since shiny minerals are harder to get, it might be a good time to use a Pickaxe Polish to increase odds of finding minerals in nodes. Also have your energy bar on yellow to increase your luck.
Similar to Scrooge’s other quests, shiny minerals your mining buddy finds won’t count for the quest. Extra shinies found with Pickaxe Polish may not count for this quest. It appears that one shiny per mining node will count.
Talk to Scrooge once you’ve mined all 3 shiny minerals. You’ll receive a Mine Cart Popcorn Bucket along with unlocking the recipe to make more.
How To Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Take Your Pic

Start this quest by talking to Mirabel. Mirabel has an idea to take more pictures of the critters around the valley. This time, she wants to get pictures of the sea turtles.
Here are the following critters you’ll need to take pictures with:
- Classic Sea Turtle
- Brown Sea Turtle
- White Sea Turtle
- Purple Sea Turtle
- Black Sea Turtle
Due to the critter schedules, this quest will take multiple days to finish. Remember to ask Mirabel to hang out with you before taking the pictures.
Make sure your pictures have both Mirabel and the sea turtle in them or it won’t count for the quest. Talk to Mirabel once you’ve taken all the pictures.
