If you have a soft spot for the sleepy pudding-loving Pompompurin, now’s the perfect time to celebrate him. His actual birthday is April 16th, so make sure to shower him with gifts. Pick up his special birthday quest as soon as possible before it’s no longer available.
How To Get The Quest For Pompompurin’s Birthday
To get the celebration started talk to My Melody to obtain the ‘All For Pudding‘ quest. It will show up under the ‘Friendship Quests’ category in your Active Quests menu.
My Melody should either be able to give you the quest when she greets you for the first time after login, or when she’s in her shop. If you have another quest in-progress with her, she may be located elsewhere.
Remember to gather Cactus Creams and Shinies to obtain Pompompurin’s Decorating Kits.
Talk To Pompompurin
My Melody is excited to help celebrate Pompompurin’s birthday, but she’s wondering if he may already have plans. It’s your job to find out.
You should be able to find Pompompurin inside his Dessert Boat, or sometimes walking around the nearby land. You’ll discover that Pompompurin is in need of a little help to send out the invitations for his party.
Help Pompompurin by cooking up 5 pudding desserts for birthday invitations. The type of pudding will be marked with a quest exclamation point when you interact with the blender.
You’ll need 5 Cactus Creams, and 5 Coral Milks to be able to make the puddings. Talk to Pompompurin once you’ve made the puddings. He’ll still need a little more help with his party plans.
Deliver The Invitation Puddings
With your 5 puddings in hand, you’ll need to set out to deliver them to the following characters:
- Retsuko
- Badtz-Maru
- Pekkle
- My Melody
- Pochacco
Use the gifting function to deliver the pudding birthday party invitations to each character. The quest objective marker on the map to help you locate characters will look like a Pompompurin birthday balloon.
Once the pudding invitation deliveries are complete, you can head back to the Dessert boat to begin the party. You can cook a special Pompompurin birthday cake at an oven before you go.
You’ll need 1 Flour and 1 Pompompurin’s Decorating Kit to make Pompompurin’s Birthday Cake. Talk to Pompompurin to begin the birthday party.
Talk To Pompompurin
You’ll receive a commemorative birthday party favor from Pompompurin for attending the celebration. You can place this in your own cabin, or someone else’s.
Additionally once you’ve celebrated, you’ll also receive the plans to craft Pompompurin Birthday Balloons. You can access the crafting blueprints by interacting with a crafting bench. To craft them you’ll need 25 rubber, 5 iron ore, and 15 bananas for each balloon.
The balloons and special cakes can also be placed in your home, or other cabins as decorations. Remember to use the gift function to give Pompompurin one of his special cakes.
