Lady and the Tramp wanted to recreate their very first date. Unfortunately, it seems that Lady got caught by the dogcatcher.
Work with Tramp to rescue Lady. Then, you just may need to rescue Tramp as well! There’s never a dull moment in Disney Dreamlight Valley, after all.
Prerequisites For ‘The Jailbreak’ Quest
To get ‘The Jailbreak’ quest, you’ll first need to do the following:
- Unlock the Lady and Tramp realm.
- Complete the ‘Canine Courtship’ quest.
You can check the status of the quests any time in the ‘Quests’ section of the main menu. This quest will show up with Lady’s icon.
Talk To Lady
When you arrive in Lady’s pound kennel, you can begin by talking to her. She’ll give you some information about her previous time in the pound.
Interact with the barrel to reveal a tunnel to the neighboring kennel. Interact with the tunnel to enter the neighboring kennel.
Find the following items:
- Old Rope
- Coat Hook
You’ll need to remove the Coat Hook from the wall with your Royal Pickaxe first before you can obtain it. You’ll then need to interact with a barrel to reach the Old Rope.
Interact with the Old Rope to collect it. Return to Lady’s kennel. Use the Crafting Station in her kennel to make an Improvised Grappling Hook.
The crafting recipe will appear on the ‘Functional Items‘ tab in the crafting interface. Approach the wall of bars that is sparkling.
Interact with the bars to use the Improvised Grappling Hook. Pick up the Kennel Key.
Talk to Lady and follow her to the locked door. Interact to unlock the door. As you exit the kennel, pick up the sparkling paper stuck to the wall across from her kennel.
You’ll receive a special hint about spots marked with a dog bone. You’ll need to find 8 spots in the realm to dig up in order to rescue other animals.
Meet Lady in the hall and talk to her. Use the new entrance spot to escape the dog pound. Check for Tramp behind Tony’s restaurant.
Talk to Lady about the situation. Leave the Lady and Tramp realm, and talk to Merlin.
Collect the following materials for a Substitute Snout:
- 6 Raspberries
- 4 Blue Falling Penstemons
- 4 Purple Falling Penstemons
- 10 Soil
- 1 Topaz
Return to the Lady and Tramp realm to get the last ingredient for the Substitute Snout. Talk to Lady, who should be waiting behind Tony’s restaurant.
Collect 12 Saucery Extract for the Substitute Snout. You should see smaller sparkling bits of spaghetti in the main road.
Interact to pick them up until you have all 12. Head to the Crafting Station near the entrance.
Interact with the Crafting Station and look for the Substitute Snout recipe on the ‘Functional Items‘ tab. Craft the snout and equip it through the ‘Wardrobe’ function in your inventory.
You’ll see a Lady icon at the top of the ‘Wardrobe’ menu. Select it and equip the Substitute Snout.
Talk to Lady again about finding Tramp. Approach the purple scent clouds to see if you can locate Tramp.
Once you’ve checked out the scent clouds and located Tramp, return to Lady. Talk to Lady to work out a plan to free Tramp.
Use your Royal Shovel to dig up the large meatballs that are trapping Tramp. Talk to Tramp to see how he’s doing.
This will complete ‘The Jailbreak’ quest, and begin the ‘Meatballs’ quest.
