Wishblossom Ranch is in need of help, just like Disney Dreamlight Valley during the Forgetting. You’ll need to combine efforts with Tigger, and some other unexpected allies, to find out more about the Crystal Key.
Explore the Pixie Acres area, and help some friends along the way. The fate of Wishblossom Ranch may be up in the air right now, but with this quest you’ll be one step closer to setting things right.
Prerequisites For ‘The BallOOn Family’ Quest
To get ‘The BallOOn Family’ quest, you’ll need to do the following:
- Purchase the Wishblossom Ranch expansion.
- Complete the introductory Dreamlight Valley quests.
- Complete the introductory Wishblossom Ranch quests, including:
You can check the status of the quest any time in the main menu. The ‘Quests’ section will show this quest with a Tigger icon.
Talk To Tigger
You can begin ‘The BallOOn Family’ quest by talking to Tigger. He’ll explain a puzzling situation with a red balloon and request your help.
You’ll need to follow Tigger to the beach in Sundae Shores. Approach Tigger and the red balloon.
Tigger will get a quest marker above his head when you get close enough to the balloon. Talk to him once he has the quest marker.
Use your pickaxe to break the rock that’s trapping the red balloon’s string. You’ll need to chase the red balloon and catch it. You can do this on your Wishblossom Horse to make it easier.
After you catch the balloon, bring it to Tigger. Talk to Tigger to give him the balloon.
You’ll need to find the rest of the red balloon’s family:
- Mama BallOOn
- Sister BallOOn
- Papa BallOOn
In the main area of Sundae Shores, you should find a cluster of yellow balloons trapped by rocks. Remove the rocks from the balloons until you find the real Mama BallOOn.
Search for Sister BallOOn in the Hundred-Acre Fields. You’ll find multiple pink balloons half-buried in the ground. Use your shovel to free them and catch the real Sister BallOOn.
Bring Mama and Sister BallOOn to Tigger. He’ll be waiting for you at the Sundae Shores beach.
| At this time, the quest is a little glitchy. You may see duplicates of the balloon family. You don’t need to bother with them, and you should still be able to proceed with the quest. |
Talk to Tigger to give him the balloons. There’s one more balloon to find. Follow Tigger to a pond to look for Papa BallOOn.
You should be able to see Tigger’s icon on the map, as well as a BallOOn icon. Approach Tigger and talk to him once he has a quest marker above his head.
You’ll need to fish in the orange fishing ripples to see if you can find Papa BallOOn. Talk to Tigger once you’ve fished up a Deflated Papa BallOOn.
You’ll need to fix Tigger’s helium tank to get Papa BallOOn in tip-top shape. Gather the following materials:
- 6 Copter Seeds
- 12 Giant Acorns
- 2 Balloon Fish (fish in still water, not ripples)
- Broken Helium Tank (should be in inventory automatically)
Copter seeds can be found by foraging in Sundae Shores and the Hundred-Acre Fields. Giant Acorns can be found by digging in the same areas.
You can fish for Balloon Fish where Tigger is waiting at the pond. Once you have all the materials, visit a crafting station.
Interact with the crafting station, and visit the ‘Functional Items’ tab to find the Helium Tank recipe. Select it and craft one Helium Tank.
Return to Tigger’s waiting spot once you’ve fixed the Helium Tank. Talk to Tigger to give him the repaired tank.
Place the BallOOn Family BOuquet somewhere in the Wishblossom Mountains. You can easily find the BallOOn Family BOuquet in the furniture menu by using the Tigger shortcut icon.
Once you’ve placed the balloon bouquet, take a selfie with it. Talk to Tigger to show him the picture.
This will complete the quest. You’ll receive the next quest ‘Fun, Fun, Fun!‘ automatically.
